... and facing harassment from Healy, resigned from the movement in February 1950.

I have removed ", and facing harassment from Healy," from this sentence "Haston, demoralised by the problems that Trotskyism had been undergoing in Britain since the end of the war, and facing harassment from Healy, resigned from the movement in February 1950.

The source is Ted Grant, History of British Trotskyism which is available here: https://www.marxist.com/history-british-trotskyism-ted-grant/part-five-end-of-an-era-%E2%80%93-the-last-years-of-the-revolutionary-communist-party.htm

It does not use the term "harassment" and it is clear that Grant, a member of the organisation, disagreed with Healy's actions. Grant also cites a discussion he had directly with Haston "pleading" with him not to resign. He may be an eye witness but he is not a neutral source.
