Amiga, Inc.

I just created an article called "Amiga Corporation". It deals with the history of the company that created the Lorraine, later to be called the Amiga, computer. To put together the article, I got information first from the Jay Miner article then from Commodore International. There is no information about Amiga, Inc. in the Atari article. But the information that I did find is somewhat contradictory. I meshed it as best as I can, but I suggest that the contradictions be decided in the Amiga, Inc. article and then be distributed back to the other two articles. A video about the history of the Amiga

All you guys interested in the amiga history should really watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfTIrJu7NbE it gives a lot of insight by the team itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.5.185.96 (talk) 02:15, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merging?

Why is it proposed this be merged with the Amiga Corp. article? While this article could be expanded upon, it nonetheless covers a lot of stuff irrelevent to Amiga Corp (and vice-versa). Miner is/was a significant character in the computer industry, I'd be disappointed if the information about him was buried in an article about a company he happened to work for. 208.152.231.254 18:01, 19 July 2006

I agree with you. The merge proposal has been there for a while. So, since there isn't a discussion here as to why the merge was proposed, I removed it. Val42 04:18, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lawsuit relevancy?

There's a very long bit about the Atari-Commodore-Amiga lawsuit tangle, but it has almost nothing to do with Jay Miner. Shouldn't that be moved out of this page and more about Jay Miner's accomplishments be put in? TNaran 07:14, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it has everything to do with Jay. He was one of the prime defendants in the suit and personally sued. --Marty Goldberg 07:18, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
But the actual text of that barely mentions him. He doesn't sound central to it at all. As well, there's barely any information about his other chip design work or the man himself. I'll see if I can add some stuff this weekend, and I'll add a heading to the lawsuit portion of the website. 142.52.81.18 19:52, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image does NOT show the "original Amiga"

What's seen in the image is a European machine -- different from the original one in at least three respects. Furthermore, the image has been 'shopped. --2003:DE:272E:2E36:FD1D:5853:EB89:6A54 (talk) 15:58, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
