Infobox replaced with image

Jan de Baen

MovementDutch Golden Age painting

User Johnbod replaced the infobox with a painting of Jan de Baen from the gallery in the works section, stating the infobox was blank.[1] I believe an infobox as displayed here (and I have added more information to it) should be used in this article. The self portrait from the Museum Bredius website could be uploaded in order to give the infobox a less 'blank' appearance.[2]Ilse@ 10:21, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have no objection if a self-portrait is used, but a picture is always preferable to a blank infobox for an artist, which should be giving no information not already in the lead, and does not allow for captions. Johnbod (talk) 12:32, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have uploaded the portrait and added the infobox to the article. – Ilse@ 17:39, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
