Speedy deletion contestation

Please see the AfD entry for this article. Brian Reading (talk) 05:44, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  1. That was a speedy deletion request.
  2. WP:GNG states: ""Sources',[2] for notability purposes, should be secondary sources, as those provide the most objective evidence of notability. The number and nature of reliable sources needed varies depending on the depth of coverage and quality of the sources. Multiple sources are generally expected.[3] Sources are not required to be available online, and they are not required to be in English. Multiple publications from the same author or organization are usually regarded as a single source for the purposes of establishing notability."
So the fact that it survived a speedy deletion AfD only indicates that it may be notable and should be quickly deleted. Thus, its notability could be challenged again. Second, notability is depend on multiple sources, so given the one "notable" source, this article hasn't met it. --Spshu (talk) 14:26, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I've taken the liberty of adding more sources to the article. Considering the addition of these sources to the article was a fairly easy endeavor, I would certainly recommend giving a quick Google search to determine if what you're expending energy on here is even worthwhile. Basically, if you're truly concerned with notability, then you might do a quick internet search instead rather than reverting edits, putting up notices, discussing on talk pages, etc. Especially when notability has been discussed by several editors in the past. Just my two cents. Cheers. Brian Reading (talk) 08:47, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
