Company

What was the company that made Ipana?

After decades of popularity, Bristol-Meyers discontinued Ipana in 1968. Eventually, the brand name was purchased by Proctor & Gamble

Contradiction

Okay, Ipana either:

  1. Disappearred in 1968
  2. Declined in the early 1970s
  3. Was bought by Proctor and Gamble
  4. Was reintroduced in 2005 by River West Brands
  5. Is the leading toothpaste in Turkey

If usage declined in the 1970s, it must not have been taken off the market in 1968. If P&G bought it, what did they do with it? If it was off the market until 2005, I find it hard to believe it's the leading toothpaste in Turkey just two years later. How did River West Brands get the rights to it?

Whatever the case, some reliable sources are needed. Kafziel Talk 17:53, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Phyllis Brooks listed as a "porn actress". Her biography gives no indication of that! —Preceding unsigned comment added by VictorSMiller (talkcontribs) 15:03, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alleged asbestos

A lot of search results on the web say that Ipana contained asbestos. There is no mention of this in the article. It has also been noted that no sources are cited, and I'm not prepared to do a full overhaul of the article so I'll just leave this comment. ;Bear (talk) 18:33, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
