Information Structures in Economics

Economics also uses a concept of information structures. Information structures in economics are directly related to concepts of perfect or imperfect information, complete or incomplete information, and certainty or uncertainty. Someone more knowledgeable on the subject than I needs to fill out this page. Helpful source: Phlips, Louis. 1988. The Economics of Imperfect Information. Information structure is a (joint probability distribution) over the product space of agents types and their action sets, in this way, differences in informativeness of models that try to reduce incompleteness of information (e.g. about agent types) can be formally compared.

That looks like it should be information structure (economics), whereas this article is really information structure (linguistics). — 128.189.187.104 (talk) 21:50, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

True, information structure is a specific concept in linguistics, but it could refer to many other things, whereby it is ambiguous. Weidorje (talk) 09:50, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
