Indispensable partyRequired party

  • Indispensable party is a term that became obsolete in 2007. The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure now calls it a "Required Party" (see the current version of FRCP Rule 19); the Civil Procedure in the United States template on the right side of the Civil Procedure articles should also be updated with the current terminology Relisted.
