Cold Brewed

This article is totally bias towards cold brewed coffee.

Iced coffee really doesn't say anything about how its brewed.

Iced Coffee is coffee served cold- poured over ice or cold from the fridge, its just a cold variant of coffee.

You can brew the coffee any style, it doesn't matter how you brew the coffee. It's personal preference and doesn't change the facts- iced coffee is coffee served cold.

You can cold brew coffee and heat it to make hot coffee, but so what. Both hot and iced coffee can be made different ways.

The article must drop the suggestions about which is better, hot brewed or cold brewed and shift focus to all about ice coffee.

There is an origin and history and way more interesting facts about iced coffee then using the article to plug a brew system which hasn't turned a profit in 25 years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.202.43.2 (talk) 15:15, 14 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting Revisions

One of the biggest things I think should be changed about this article is that, instead of having a list of iced coffee variations by country, there should be a list of iced coffee variations by production. I still want to keep a world-perspective in the article but I feel like it makes more sense to have a list of iced coffee variations by production rather than country. This list of variations by production could be sub-heads in the "Serving" section. I would also move some of the information currently in the variations by country list to the "History" since some of the information in this section can fit in with the history of iced coffee. A smaller edit I think should be made is that the "Serving" section should include more information on how iced coffee can be brewed and served beyond just a vague description, which is where the variations in production would come in.

I also think there should be a section discussing the popularity and culture surrounding iced coffee. NShair1216 (talk) 17:29, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It makes a lot more sense to organize by variations in recipe than by country. This is true for many food and beverage articles. See, for example, my reorganization of mint lemonade. --Macrakis (talk) 17:39, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I also agree. The stuff about how ice coffee in various languages is a literal translation of "ice coffee" is pretty pointless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.1.228.188 (talk) 18:21, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
