-22.0°C, 207.5 MPa

"Ice-three has triple points with liquid water and ice Ih (-22.0°C, 207.5 MPa), liquid water and ice-five (-17.0°C, 346.3 MPa), ice Ih and ice-two (-34.7°C, 212.9 MPa) and ice-two and ice-five (-24.3°C, 344.3 MPa). The dielectric constant of ice-three is about 117."[1]

It is very confusing to say that III forms "at 300 MPa by lowering its temperature to 250 K". The phase diagram shows that at 300 MPa it should form at temps a few degrees above that, at about -17 deg C. And at -22 deg C, only 207.5 MPa should be required, not 300 MPa. The article should cover all these details thoroughly, showing the exploded phase diagram at http://www.lsbu.ac.uk/water/phase.html -- should be done by someone who actually understands the subject! -69.87.203.220 (talk) 02:31, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
