Please don't copy and paste articles to wikipedia unless they are freely licensed. This one was not as far as I could tell. If you have permission to release the article under GFDL from the copyright holder or are the copyright author releasing the article under GFDL please correct me. Hyphae as seen under a log

I removed the pic on the right because I fear it could be misleading. The picture shows macroscopic structures which readers might assume to be individual hyphae; of course hyphae themselves are microscopic. This pic might be better on a page like mycelium. –Adrian J. Contradiction

The following tag was added relating to E. J. H. Corner's terms.

But I think the references made it pretty clear that he introduced the terms monomitic, dimitic & trimitic in 1933, and later in a 1966 paper added terms like sarcodimitic, sarcotrimitic etc. I added the phrase "as a later refinement" to make this even clearer.
