GA Review

GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
Please check grammar throughout. e.g. "There can be upwards of 12,000 more people out on Lake Washington next to Husky Stadium, some of which stay on the lake the entire weekend camping out." Some of whom.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
"The stadium is one of 34 structures built before the 1929 stock market crash." Doesn't have a cite, isn't repeated in the body, and isn't specific enough about the class of other structures. Plenty of homes exist from before 1929. The Tailgating section is under-cited as well. Please clean up citations with WP:CITET as well.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
"At times, it's nearly impossible to hear oneself even think, getting so loud that it inflicts pain because it is actually possible to feel the noise" is not NPOV or encyclopedic voice. Feel free to use a quote from that source to illustrate, but the text as presented isn't sufficient.
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
For a structure with such a large and rich history, it seems odd to only have contemporary photos, the majority of which appear to be from one event. A top-view of the stadium in relation to Lake Washington, 520, etc. would help illustrate the article.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
While it's an enjoyable article, it needs more references, more and different images, and more attention to writing style throughout. Feel free to drop me a note when you've made these improvements, and I'd be happy to provide additional feedback on your progress. Jclemens (talk) 04:57, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
