Speedy deletion tag

The article is not a copyright infringement and even if it was, it should be fixed instead of the article being deleted. A fix by the concerned editor would surely take much less of people's time than tagging the article. --Wet dog fur (talk) 22:09, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've made some changes to the article. --Wet dog fur (talk) 22:30, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"The Human Epigenome Project (HEP) aims to identify, catalogue and interpret genome-wide DNA methylation patterns of all human genes in all major tissues." vs. "The aim of the Human Epigenome Project (HEP) is to identify, catalog, and interpret genome-wide DNA methylation patterns of all human genes in all major tissues."
"The HEP is run by the members of the Human Epigenome Consortium and is a public/private collaboration." vs. "The Human Epigenome Project (HEP) is a public/private collaboration run by the members of the Human Epigenome Consortium."
Moving words around does not make it any less of a copyright violation. "A fix by the concerned editor would surely take much less of people's time than tagging the article." - Editors who actually submitted their own work rather than plagiarising to work of others would mean that I had to spend less time weeding out stolen content. This is how many articles which had been simply copied from other websites left to be dealt with on one day in November. Do you have any idea how long it would take to personally rewrite all of those? Can you tell me why someone should have to spend that amount of time cleaning up after other editors? It really wouldn't take much for you to write a few sentences explaining the Human Epigenome Project. Apologies if this sounds condescending, but it really is a lot of work to clean up this amount of stuff, and for someone to suggest that I am wasting his time wears a little thin. – Toon(talk) 22:34, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have made some changes to the article and believe the article as it is now is sufficient. If it is not sufficient and nobody else wants to make changes to the article then go ahead and delete it. --Wet dog fur (talk) 22:38, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've tweaked it a little and removed the tags. – Toon(talk) 22:49, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More information?

How is this project going? When did it start? How long is it projected to take? What are implications of the projects outcome? What is it's cost so far? Projected Total cost?

This article is lacking a lot of info.131.251.252.33 (talk) 14:20, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
