Very very poorly done and referenced.

Sorry to say, but there it is. LeProf — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.222.5.163 (talk) 07:01, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed but please keep in mind {{sofixit}}. I have made an initial attempt to improve the article. Boghog (talk) 08:20, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thankful for hard work, broadening of perspective still needed

I am thankful for the hard work that Boghog has put into this page, to move it from a near nothing and misdirected stub to an article with substantial content. What is now needed is to move it from one person's/company's perspective (Boghog is a self-described pharma medicinal chemist), to a more general perspective that includes the process synonyms of other groups/companies that perform HtL on a regular basis. John Steele's excellent review material is one additional source (which uses Active to Hit), and other cos. use terms like hit qualification, etc.; I will list others here as I have time. With the differences in labels will come a broadening and deepening of nuance. (Not all practicing medicinal chemists would describe the process quite how it appears here.) Bottom line, a great start; left now to encompass the many other descriptive terms also in use, and the difference in perspectives they reflect. LeProf.
