"Seems this article is Incorrect"

There is evidence that the first beers were brewed in China. Check out this wikipedia article

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_in_China#:~:text=10%20External%20links-,History,on%20small%20and%20individual%20scales.

"History" section

In addition to having a redundant title, the "History" section has an unclear function. Is it meant to summarize the later sections? The lead section is the place for an overview. Perhaps it should be deleted after redistributing any valuable content to other sections?? At present its place before the "Etymology" section disrupts the logical flow of the article, and draws attention away from more substantial material below. Good point. I've made a quick rearrangement, though further editing is needed. SilkTork ✔Tea time 14:02, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi everybody, About the history of beer, some sources show evidences of beer making going back to about 10000 BC, just look at that link:

https://www.alcoholproblemsandsolutions.org/history-of-beer-before-christianity-timeline/

Should we talk more precisely about that in the article ?

the doch rivers

hi, i am a dutchman. i learned that in the medievaltime the riverwater was TO DIRTY to be used... so it was better to brew beer and thus kill the, at that time unknown, germs. the Rhine passes 6 different COUNTRIES, with the Netherlands as last part, so for the dutchman there was, altough plenty water in amounts, FEW FRESH water ... . so thats is a possible reason that Ale is off less intresse in northwest europa as hop changes the taste. like hiding the "molded" taste of many different fermentations. 85.149.83.125 (talk) 22:20, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contradicition

It would seem the preamble contradicts the Early beers section? I do believe the latter is correct and the preamble not, but I haven't got time to sort it at the moment.--Oskila (talk) 11:00, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tablet image

Sorry people, but the cuneiform tablet used as first image is upside down; could anyone turn it in the right direction? :) --Lampo5 (talk) 14:31, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
