Plans for this article
The reason why I put the current planning work in the same article as the Authority itself (instead of separating them out like California High-Speed Rail does) is because there is no official name for the system, lines etc. Once it starts getting built (if it does), then creating separate articles for the announced sections (e.g. Sydney-Newcastle high speed rail line) should be considered, and this article should just be about the Authority itself. - @MiasmaEternal: Thanks for your work on this article, do you think that it would make sense to add information about the National Faster Rail Agency into this article as it was a similar agency of the federal government? According to page 347 of this report, it was established in 2019 and absorbed into the HSRA on 13 June 2023. Note that there is already a redlink to NFRA on Template:Australian rail, which should probably redirect here? Fork99 (talk) 10:32, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
