Citation unification

I'd like to convert the current references on the page to WP:CS1, but per WP:CITEVAR I'm seeking a consensus here first. My concern is that the current citation style used on this page does not sufficiently indicate authorship or the date a URL was accessed. The former is important for the verifiability of the source; the latter for tracing dead links. Triptothecottage (talk) 11:16, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Going ahead with this as part of an expansion and development of the article. Happy to discuss the issue here ongoing.Triptothecottage (talk) 11:36, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Now that a life-size mock-up of the train is on display in Melbourne, does the fair-use rationale behind the infobox image of this article still apply? Kb.au (talk) 13:59, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Kb.au: I'm no copyright expert, but I'd say not. Feel free to remove it and nom for deletion. Triptothecottage (talk) 21:49, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Hopefully someone is able to provide a free image now. Kb.au (talk) 22:20, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can it really run on a 3kV DC overhead power supply?

TheLocalGeek has added a claim that this train is dual-voltage, which I don't think is true. It is unsourced and I can't verify it. There is no railway in Melbourne that has a 3kV DC overhead power supply (well, at least... not yet), so please provide me a reliable source for verification and then I will add it. High Capacity Metro TrainsHigh Capacity Metro Train – As per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (plurals). Steelkamp (talk) 04:53, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. The term 'High Capacity Metro Train' could be used to refer to the subject of the article, therefore the article title should be in the singular. Redtree21 (talk) 09:37, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
