Merge proposal

I propose this article to be merged into Atlas Mountains as all the information mentioned in High Atlas (here) is mentioned in the other article. Moreover, there is a section on the Moroccan Atlas (which includes the High Atlas). --User:AAM | Talk 19:19, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jbel Toukbal is not the second highest African peak, merely the highest in North Africa. I think there are 12 higher.

Please recheck your info. -- Szvest 19:43, 7 July 2006 (UTC) Wiki me up™[reply]
Excellent catch. Mistranslation of the French article which actually states, (2iem sommet africain aprés le mont de Kilimandjaro). As I recall, French numbers become ordinals by adding -ième, so I assumed 2iem was 2ième or 2nd. My error (but then my command of French is famously poor - every Frenchman I meet tells me so).
Deleted from the text. Thanks - Williamborg 00:31, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
:) - No worries about your French! I could be better than that of billions around the world! Myself, i'd always thought that Toubkal is the second tallest in Africa. -- Szvest 19:30, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

high atlas

Hello there,

I would like to add a link on the page of this article with the following site: http://www.sun-trails.com/Day-Trips/atlas-and-the-3-valleys.html There are plenty of details about the High Atlas on the page provided that could benefit readers of the article.

Thank you in advance.
