Thomas Jermyns

I think I have solved the mystery of the Thomas Jermyns. There were three:

1) Sir Thomas (bapt. 1573, d. 1644/45), soldier and courtier, eldest son of Sir Robert Jermyn (1538/9-1614) of Rushbrooke, Suffolk; he was the father of Henry Jermyn, 1st Earl of St. Albans.

2) Thomas (d. 1659) of Rushbrooke, Suffolk, father of Henry Jermyn, third Baron Jermyn and Earl of Dover (bapt. 1636, d. 1708)

3) Thomas (1633-1703), nephew of the Earl of St. Albans.

Henry Jermyn Earl of Dover,

As an archivist at the Convent of the Discalced Carmelites at Bruges Belgium, I am presently transcribing the texts of a Register named 'Nomina Sepultorum in Ecclesia Nostra 1641-1796'. Yesterday I discovered a text describing the funeral of Henricus Comes de Douvre Baron Jermyn who died in London, was tranferred to Sluis (Holland) and taken to Bruges Belgium where he was buried in the Church of the Carmelites (O. Carm.) on May 24 th 1708.

If found interesting enough I can copy the entire Latin text that describes in detail the very ceremonial funeral of this nobleman.
