Paymaster of the Forces

Is there a reason why the first paragraph of the Paymaster of the Forces article is reproduced under the Paymaster General of the Forces section? It's probably worth including that his father had been the first holder of the office, but other than that, a history of its establishment as a permanent office or of its evolution into a political prize really isn't relevant to a biography of one of its occupants.
