Hplus Nano Teoranta is the Umbrella Corporation of the series

I suggest, when more facts become available, to create a subsection or sub article about this fictitious company. I started the sub section. Does anyone have an opinion? Geraldshields11 (talk) 13:26, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that, when we have more facts, it would have definitely a place as a subsection in this article. My main worry is that, due to the very limited and brief nature of the series, there may not ever be enough information on Hplus Nano Teoranta for it to present a valuable addition, but I really have my fingers crossed that it'll allow for it in time. 6c756b6572 (talk) 20:07, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would suggest that we wait for the series to play out until we begin expanding the background section greatly. We can definitely add little tidbits here and there, but I'm not for adding large amounts of information without sourcing, which I haven't been able to find. That is funny because the source for the "large amounts of information without sourcing" is from the website, which is listed in the external links of this article, of the fictitious company that the creators of the series created.
It is just like a real website but is fictitious, similar to the story telling on the web sites of the Jennings and Rall of the Jericho series (see jenningsandrall.tomtooman.com) or Primatech Paper Company in the Heroes series (see PrimatechPaper.com, an NBC-maintained website for Primatech Paper Company by extension of Heroes Evolutions) that carry the story forward.
Although Hplus Nano Teoranta is a better designed website than the Primatech Paper Company website is, the source is a primary source but it is the only source because who would write a tome of weighty knowledge about the workings of a fictitious company but a Wikipedia editor.
So, to have NPOV, I put the information in quotes. I have no problem in removing the list of executives because, after all, who needs executive producers in transhumanism. Geraldshields11 (talk) 20:49, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I understand the purpose of the Hplus Nano Teoranta website setup, of course, but my issue was with the copy-and-paste of direct quotes, which provides little constructive information. There may be a Wikipedia policy on this, but it would be much more beneficial to the article to not have the copy-and-pasting of direct quotes. Removal of hplus nano teoranta viral website link

While I don't feel comfortable simply undoing an edit, this edit (here) removes the link because it claims the fictitious company website is accessible through the official website for the series. It's possible that I am missing it, however, if I can't find it when I'm looking for it, it isn't very obviously displayed, meaning other people will also not find it. I will also add that the website is not linked on the information section of the twitter, the facebook, or the youtube, meaning it isn't prominently displayed anywhere at all. That leaves this website in an anonymous limbo, accessible by those who are privy to the knowledge it already exists. Speaking personally, if the link were not on this article, I would not have found the website.

Further, I think that by this logic, we could remove the youtube channel link, because that's definitely accessible through the official website. I just feel that it was a valuable link and that, by removing it, the article, and the people looking to the article for information, are being deprived by its absence. I'd appreciate some kind of consensus or input before adding it back. I'm not sure of the value of the link even if it can't be found online. It's a completely fictitious website, and that's not something of high value (see WP:WAF for the value of overly-fictitious writing's inclusion in Wikipedia). In addition, you call it a viral link. If it's not linked anywhere, even on their own website, I don't see how it could be viral at all.... As for the YouTube link, I previously judged it keepable due to the fact that this is a webseries, but I feel that there would be no great loss to the article for its removal.

Availability of Youtube videos outside the US

I removed a section of text stating that the H+ Youtube videos are not available outside the US. As I can watch them in here in New Zealand, this is demonstrably incorrect.
