Gryphoceratops?
Ryan et al. (2012) is now in print and names "Gryphoceratops", not Gryphognathus. Could this mean Gryphognathus is preoccupied? There's no mention of this in the paper, and the name Gryphognathus doesn't even appear in the new version.[1] The only other use I could find is for a lungfish in Primitive Fishes (2007)[2], but apparently it's a misspelling of Griphognathus.[3] Smokeybjb (talk) 01:00, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yeh, you're right. I don't know why they have changed the name, but it seems like Gryphognathus is a nomen nudum. I'll redirect the pages. Rnnsh (talk) 08:32, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
