Guys, what's the evidence these guys even ever existed?
IMHO, the Latin "Clibinarius" is a direct translation of the Middle Persian "Tanurigh" which means oven-wearer - referring to the relatively new method of wearing a cuirass over maille in the 3rd and 4th Centuries AD.
