Photos

Every one of the photos on this article at time of writing this comment has a {{PD-self}} tag and is accompanied by the phrase "I scanned this photo myself, not found anywhere on Internet." They look very much like photos from commercial publications to me, and scanning those in yourself does not make them PD or remove the original copyright holder's rights. As such I'm removing all the links to the images. Please comment here if you think I'm going over the top. Loganberry (Talk) 15:22, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you're going far enough! They should be listed for deletion too. Stephen Turner (Talk) 15:26, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
(Heh; edit conflict here - I was already onto it!) I have now removed them and will be listing them for deletion. For reference, the photos used are linked here:

I've nominated all the pics in that "series" which had no other info - one or two the uploader says they were taken by an uncle. However I've removed all the pics from this article to err on the safe side. Loganberry (Talk) 15:54, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
