Rotation actions

Does this muscle tend to internally or externally rotate the hip joint? It looks like it ideally pulls to neutral position so it seems like something that would perform either action to return to neutral position if deviating from it. It's hard to tell though because I don't well understand how it wraps around and attaches to the tibia, could this be better clarified? Dictabeard (talk) 23:18, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Source for hip flexion

There's a reference for a statement that this muscle is a knee flexor, and it being an adductor seems like common sense, but could someone verify if there are claims this muscle is a hip flexor as well? This has been called into question. DB (talk) 21:20, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

translation of latin "gracilis" - i suggest "spindly" instead of "slender"; closer to literal meaning which involves thin and slender, but also weak, frail, meagre...requires someone else's approval

i would suggest "spindly" instead of "slender" for latin "gracilis" - but i would like someone else's approval — Preceding unsigned comment added by Klett (talkcontribs) 22:51, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
