Council Ward

I am not sure that the statement " new Lochee council ward, yet is several miles from Lochee" adds anything. Since the introduction of multi-member wards for STV voting in Scotland in 2007 a lot of wards have taken the name of one area (or one old ward) within them making this sort of anomaly not uncommon (and this is by no means the most notable example within Dundee). Equally several miles is a bit vague and what constitutes Lochee has changed over time and by some definitions Gowrie Park would be only about a mile from the outer reaches of Lochee.
