I deleted the "Bakunin's Views on the State" section because it has nothing to do the book or Bakunin. It is text taken from Engels "Condition of the Working Class in England." The information surrounding it is about Engels book, not Bakunin's. I also removed various links to Engel's book. It was likely put there by some vandals or something. I will try to put a correct section up when i get the time.

If you would like to add this in the external links section, please do (i can't b/c i am affiliated with LirbiVox):

There are some problems with several parts of this text which talk about Cafiero and Reclus translating "God and the State" into French. They did not: Bakunin wrote in French. They were responsible for organizing Bakunin's chaotic notes, editing the texts and preparing them for pubilshing. And they did not "discover" the text - they were part of a committee which had been appointed to look after publication of Bakunin's work after his death. I came here to post the question: what language did they translate it from? I've just passed 30 minutes trying to find out. Neither the german, nor the french wikipedia suggest that the text was not originally french. I got really confused. Thanks for clearing things up. Saved me quite some time. (Btw: Seems like a case of anglocentricsm to me, anything non-english apparently can't be anything else than a translation.)TheseusX (talk) 12:50, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

what is the content of the book?

Glaring omission from this article is anything about the actual themes of the work. 71.216.250.182 (talk) 02:35, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
