"List of projects"

Why does this section exist and what is the criteria for inclusion? Any objections to just deleting this - surely dealt with better in prose? Ivar the Boneful (talk) 08:55, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well notable GoFundMe funds have raised either millions of dollars or money for celebrity purposes. Nate Rybner 16:06, 8 February 2022 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Naterybner (talkcontribs)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Pretty clear WP:POV pushing, also not sure why multiple unreliable websites are being linked when you're pretty much just quoting a single piece from the Epoch Times which we do not consider reliable here. Controversies

On Tuesday, 27 June 2023, a 17-year-old Nahel Marzouk was killed by a police officer during a routine traffic stop. While the police officer has been arrested and will be tried for homicide, a right wing activist Jean Messiha organised a controversial crowdfunding in favour of the police officer’s family which reached €1,6 million. This killing has sparked important riots in France and the crowdfunding initiative is currently in the process of being cancelled by French courts. 81.98.57.156 (talk) 12:23, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
