Number of Species

This article should address the number of known species in the phylum. --Savant13 14:13, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Length

In the anatomy section, the article says they are 0.5 to 1 mm in length. There is a citation at the end of the paragraph, which I do not have access to, so I cannot tell if that source supports the reported length. I did find this, which says gnathostomulids are 0.3 to 3 mm in length, and this (yeah, it's researchgate, but apparently a chapter from a book published by de Gruyter) says 230 μm to 3600 μm. So, does anyone have some expertise on this subject? - Donald Albury 13:24, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This sentence doesn't appear to make much sense:

"The ultrastructure of the jaws made of rods with electron dense core in transmission electron microscopy sections also support their close relation with Rotifera and Micrognathozoa. "

Why the sudden mention of TEM? Has a portion of the sentence been deleted at some point? "The ultrastructure of the jaws made of rods with electron dense core in transmission electron microscopy sections" is borderline gibberish. I think there should be something between "made of rods with electron dense core" and "in transmission electron microscopy sections" - I assume the author is trying to say that the structure, having an electron dense core, is visible in TEM sections - but I'm not super familiar with the subject and could be wrong, hence unwilling to edit (plus I don't have time as I'm working on a lit review right now, which is why I was looking for some basic info in the first place).
