Your page looks like a good start but I think you could add some additional pieces of information to the chembox such as a picture of the molecule, the boiling point, and melting point. Also, in your individual sections you could expand on some of your points such as where Glycine hydrochloride is found in the body or used even if it is nonessential.

Your page is off to a nice start, but it looks like its still in the early stages and needs a lot of work at the moment. The chem box is pretty empty, and the sections need some more info before its complete. Also you should look at some of the syntax for formatting on wikipedia so that you can make the titles for your sections bigger, etc.

Your sections aren't quite complete. You should look up reactivity via Google Scholar, SciFinder, or PubChem, as glycine hydrochloride must have some function if it is an amino acid. I would recommend formatting your in-text citations so that they are hyperlinked to your reference list. You use a reference tag. Your Chembox needs a lot of work; make sure you draw/obtain a picture for your compound and upload it to Wikipedia. A lot of the smaller pieces of physical data can be obtained from the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.

The major outline of what will be included is quite comprehensive, but then it seems a lot of work is needed to improve the whole page. There should be more datas appearing in the Chembox, stating physical properties of this compound (i.e. boiling point, melting point, density, molecular weight...) All paragraphs also need to be longer so that more information could be provided. It is also a good thing to use the correct syntax to refer those references you used.

Merge suggestion

In general, I don't think Wikipedia needs separate articles for a chemical compound and one of its salts, unless there is significant independent notability. That is not the case here. In addition, I agree with User:Smokefoot's comment that the article is not suitable for mainspace (it hasn't changed much since that 2012 comment). Therefore, I suggest merging into glycine (or just redirecting there). Reba16 (talk) 23:18, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
