Grandview

Is not a town. It's a rrail station with a ...grad view. I don't think it is even very close to any populated places, just a scenic stop on the reail line. I've tried to clarify that in the article but I'm not thrilled with the wording. See U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System: Glacier Discovery. Distance

Call the three respective distances between Portage and the three end-points "A" (to Anchorage), "W" (to Whittier), and "G" (to Grandview).

Then the distance reported in the infobox needs to roughly match the following calculation: The outbound journey is A+(2xW)+G. The return journey is the same, or G+(2xW)+A. The total distance covered during the 11 ½ hour duration should therefore approximate 2A + 4W + 2G. CapnZapp (talk) 14:21, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
