--NO SUCH THING AS GIRL POWER!-- There is no such thing as real girl power. I know. All they do is their silly hairstyles, and it is just annoying. UGH! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.123.188.184 (talk) 00:13, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since you believe that femininity and feminism are exclusive from each other, I assume that you don't want female empowerment? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.169.122.15 (talk) 12:07, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Girl power isn't and never has been linked to any form of feminism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.206.17.196 (talk) 06:34, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I respect all your opinions but unless any of y'all have reliable sources to back your opinions up it can't be in the article, please read WP:SOURCE and find something to add, otherwise what happens on the talk page can only remain here.
Sincerely, --86.81.201.94 (talk) 10:06, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Girl PowerGirl power

Per WP:CAPS ("Wikipedia avoids unnecessary capitalization") and WP:TITLE, this is a generic, common term, not a propriety or commercial term, so the article title should be downcased. Lowercase will match the formatting of related article titles. This is just the kind of item that might be in quotes or italics first time it appears in a text (bold in this WP article, of course), but left unmarked subsequently. Tony (talk) 12:49, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Not a proper noun and therefore should not be capitalised. Jenks24 (talk) 16:09, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. OED spells it lower case. The Spice Girls gave it as "Girl Power."[1] One of these sources is more RS than the other. Kauffner (talk) 05:32, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Does not seem to be a proper noun. Kaldari (talk) 20:42, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Women's March on NYC

There were a lot of girl power signs, buttons, sashes, shirts, etc. at the Women's March on NYC yesterday. Here are two examples -- not sure if they're useful for the article, so will let others decide. There are almost certainly more in the Commons category.
