GA Reassessment

• The article contains some peacock language such as "The north-south expanse is similarly impressive ...".
  • Fixed the one example, not sure I know what constitutes "peacock" language. Joe I 05:38, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
    • Not sure you can talk about Texas without peacocking. Surely anyone that's met a Texan knows this. But, yeah, there's a bit of in the article. -- warr (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 10:35, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

• The Geology section is completely uncited, and the rather large Resources section only has one citation right at the top. What is the source of all this information?

• One image shows "Captain Marcy's route though Texas in 1854". Who was Captain Marcy?
