ganciclovir veterinary uses

This medication, in gel form, appears to be an effective treating for ophthalmic herpes 1 virus infections in cats: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9242719/ I would add this myself, but I have never mastered how to edit the reference section of a Wikipedia webpage.
