The quote by Harold Pinter is probably not appropriate. He was known for being intensely bitter about US foreign policy. I would bet that in the quote he is applying the military doctrine as if it were a foreign policy doctrine as a means of venting his anger. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 18.87.1.204 (talk) 23:18, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Not sure if this counts as a reliable enough source for ya (it's not a blog anyway) but:

to quote -
according to Professor Philip M. Taylor of England's University of Leeds... one of the world's leading experts on psychological operations, public diplomacy and propaganda, and a consultant to the American and British governments... "It's true, though rarely recognized in the control-freakery world of the military, that full spectrum dominance is impossible in the global information environment,"
Suggest edit to reflect reality that full-spectrum dominance is dismissed as credible military doctrine by a respected source. Of course, recognise that the military may disagree, but the point deserves to be made. --Scriblio 23:43, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
