Frederick McNess → Fred McNess – According to the subject's birth certificate (supplied by relative via VRTS ticket # 2015092510020235) he was named Fred not Fredrick. This is also the name used in the VC citation in the London Gazette. Nthep (talk) 19:02, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
- Support if he was named Fred, not Frederick, that's where it ought to be. --Lineagegeek (talk) 23:10, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
- Support: agreed per Nthep. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 01:11, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
