Q1: Why is the infobox collapsed?
A1: The utility of an infobox was disputed in the article, with supporters saying that infoboxes were de facto standard in biographies and opponents saying that the infobox was prone to be bloated and that policy did not de jure require infoboxes. A compromise was reached whereby an infobox would be present but collapsed. This compromise has been maintained throughout various discussions and should not be overturned without consensus.
