Other Work

Frank Snowden was actually a famous classicist and authority on Greek civilization, yet this article does little to mention this. Snowden has had some intersections with the afrocentrist movement, but might someone add more to this?

One example being this excellent paper on Nubian civilization: http://www.chs.harvard.edu/publications.sec/online_print_books.ssp/frank_m._snowden_jr./burstein_snowden_tei.xml_1

{{Proposed deletion/dated |concern = Current (long-standing) redirect is incorrect and points to a long deceased author, Frank M. Snowden *Jr*; not to be confused with Yale professor Frank M. Snowden. |timestamp = 20200607200923 |help = }} Mrgou (talk) 20:09, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't appear that the Yale professor has a Wikipedia page yet. In the meanwhile, it appears this redirect is helpful. – Thjarkur (talk) 20:17, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Except in this case, it's more misleading than useful, as both are American historians, thus leading to confusion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.176.34.150 (talk) 15:30, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
