The town is officially called 'Foxborough', but for just about all intents and purposes, 'Foxboro' is used colloquially. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.19.97.252 (talk) 08:17, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The name spelling of 'Foxboro' comes in part from the longtime business Foxboro Company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.22.134.45 (talk) 23:58, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So is Foxboro Stadium realy Foxborough Stadium? If it is than is it named after Foxboro Company? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tstanley12 (talkcontribs) 22:21, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, the stadium name was "Foxboro Stadium" (after initial naming as Schaefer Stadium, then Sullivan Stadium). In some historical, pre-Foxboro Company founding writings are found names such as "Foxboro' Foundry" with a shortened spelling of the town name using an apostrophe to indicate missing letters. The spelling of the town name has gone through phases although the official and correct spelling has always been Foxborough.Foxborough —Preceding comment was added at 23:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Leonard

Notable people lists are supposed to contain people that are associated with this community and are notable per WP:BIO. Being a local media personality does not bestow automatic notability. A google news search turns up no hits for Mr. Leonard. Even a search of the website of the newspaper in his reference didn't turn up anything. This guy is definitely not notable. Please quit adding his name here. There is an exception for people who do not make world-wide notability who are of extreme importance to the locality, but I frankly don't see a DJ as fitting that. Your milage may vary, altho any entry about a person has to follow the WP:BLP rules on referencing, and with no reliable source references out there, I don't see how he could be included. Make a case if you wish. At this point, this page is waiting a backup at page protection for a block on IP editing. John from Idegon (talk) 18:01, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
