Possible Changes
I am going to edit the lead section of this article, adding more details and information regarding exactly what forensic psychotherapy is and what it is not.
I will edit the language of the article and make it person first language. I will add more basic information regarding what psychotherapy is and what cognitive behavioral therapy is and how it is used in forensic psychotherapy.
I will discuss the various treatment techniques used in forensic psychotherapy. I will add information regarding who forensic psychotherapy is used on, and why it is used, instead of other psychotherapies.
I will add information regarding the education level required and certification required to practice forensic psychotherapy. I will discuss what settings it is used in and discuss practical applications of it.
Each of these topic points will have its own section following the lead section of the article.
As I come up with more changes, and find references, I will add them to this page. Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!

Article Evaluation
I recently evaluated this article as part of a class assignment. I think that the article could be improved by simply providing additional information throughout the entirety of it. There are numerous grammatical errors and a few of the sentences are awkward. The information provided is seemingly correct, although I also noticed that out of the three links in the Reference section, two of them do not actually work. I think that the article would be greatly improved if there was a sufficient amount of information regarding forensic psychotherapy. I think that especially for an article about something so intriguing, it should not be in the stub-class on the projects quality scale. JessicaMolinari (talk) 17:09, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
Article Edits
On this article, I made edits that included minor grammar and spelling revisions. I also changed the title of one of the sections in the article so that it would be more fitting for what the section discusses. I removed the section titled "The Forensic Patient" because the information presented within it sounded very biased and there were a lot of statements throughout that could not be backed up by a credible source. It lacked citations and it included statements which can not be generalized to every individual being treated under this discipline as if they were facts. Other than that, I reworded portions of the article to sound more neutral, and provided additional information in most sections. Article Evaluation
I am evaluating this article for a class assignment. I think most of the information present is very relevant and accurate for the most part. I only see a few minor issues with this article that could be improved upon. One is that most of the information after the first citation in the "Controversy Regarding Treatment" section is not cited. It mentions how there have been positive benefits in the provision of rehabilitative treatments in some prisons and also mentions that there has been conflicts between professionals over limited resources due to superiority but does not elaborate on any such examples for either. Both of these presented ideas are not cited as well. Also out of the 12 citations present, 1, 6 and 11 no longer work. As the site for 1 cannot be reached, 6 simply says "not found" and 11 does not load anything at all. Mr.M.Forensics (talk) 04:25, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
