"It will be contested by 11 teams." Well, Western Isles is on the list of participating teams, but it is not on any group and they have no matches listed either. Seems it will be contested by "only" 10 teams. 85.217.44.122 (talk) 22:26, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, Western Isles are in Group C, instead of Shetland, who didn't enter at all. Don't know why that happened. Thanks for pointing it out! SellymeTalk 23:28, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
- It wasn't due to a lack of funds, rather the provincial government on the Island felt by competing at the games it would make the island look like it wanted independence. Sellyme, if you are interested Prince Edward Island did host the 2009 Canada Games. Intoronto1125TalkContributions 23:34, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
