What?

An asterism is apparently a cluster of stars smaller than a constellation. --Danaman5 05:33, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's more a prominent arrangement of (usually random, unassociated) stars. Cluster has a very different meaning in astronomy. Praemonitus (talk) 19:31, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
