Summary box - the structure shows the anion but the formula is for the uncharged acid (farnesyl-OPO(OH)OPO(OH)2). Dolichol does not transport proteins; it carries carbohydrate chains (which are used to N-glycosylate proteins in the ER). - I only found the trianion form on other web pages, so I suggest to change to formula to [C15H25O7P2]3-.

I removed the statement on statin induced myopathy. There is no formal proof tht statins induce CoQ deficiency in muscle.
