Catalysis

It seems to me, looking at the pages for Facilitator and this one, that both are unduly limited in scope because they only mention people doing things, though admittedly in a variety of ways and circumstances. I was struck by the fact that there is no mention of any other kind of making anything easier, or helping something to happen, or even making it possible for something to happen (something that just does not happen without the presence of some entity or substance), in short, the sort of action, or capability of a substance or object, as with any material called a catalyst, and the process called catalysis. Indeed, I came to be looking at them while (after my memory went momentarily blank) I was trying to find something that would remind me of either of these terms. Nothing did. Any student might, at such a moment, find such mentions helpful.

Does anybody agree with me that it would help some people to find their way to articloes on such ideas if they were mentioned here and/or in the page about facilitators? Iph (talk) 20:46, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
