i believe there should not be a big five league record separately. the big five changes every few years.. for example the dutch league was top 5 in the mid-nineties. i believe the record should not be separate.

50 goals to be limit

I did a little research and founded that there are several more players that have achieved 47 goals a season and a LOT more that have achieved 46. I will cut the number to 48.

Just stumbled upon this again. OK, not saying we need to put United in everywhere, but the article needs some serious work. For starters, there needs to be a distinction between pro and semi pro teams. Not saying other clubs werent semi pro at any point in their existence (I havent checked) but the likes of linfield have NEVER been pro. If semi pro clubs are fair game, I am sure I can find one thats won an absolute ton of trophies and in that case, should they be added? I suggest clarifying that its pro teams only for this. Also, I have no idea why there is a section for most trophies in a calendar year; shouldnt it be for a full season instead where you can actually find sources for the info because nobody keeps track of what clubs win in a full year? And why do Celtic have a regional cup included in their trophy haul for their place in that list? What trophies count here? Thats never specified! I'm sure other clubs on that list (Inter, Barca, etc) won little regional trophies the year of their placing on the list as well so should those be found and added? There is no requirement to make any distinction. Football teams were not always professionals, many trophies allow cross-competition between Amateur, Semi Professional and Professional teams. Some domestic leagues (such as Germany) were not Professional until much later in the 20th century. And what happens if Linfield tomorrow decide to declare themselves as professionals? Is there actually much of a distinction and are we appropriately placed to make that distinction? No.

Celtic point is valid, and removed.

Titles are not all awarded by a single season, and several leagues are summer leagues and so do not span the same periods of time as a English domestic leagues. Some titles are only challenged for in a subsequent season (Charity Shield, Super Cup). The reason behind the description is that all competitions typically resolve their finals within 1 calendar year, and any subsequent cups that come from that initial victory are played within the same calendar year. Re: Section 3: Highest goal margin (aggregate) in European football This is incorrect as an aggregate of 21-0 has been achieved twice. Chelsea v Jeuneusse Hautcharage in the Cup Winners Cup 71-72 (8-0 and 13-0) and Feyenoord vs US Rumelange (9-0 and 12-0) in the UEFA cup 72-73. The record quoted is for the European Cup/Champions League only.

I do not wish to spend too much time looking for supporting references but the Wikipedia page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelsea_F.C._in_European_football states this and the results (for Chelsea) can be found in their online match database at: http://www.chelseafc.com/the-club/history/style/match-database.html. My father also went to the home leg!

The only reference I will state (albeit without further references in that article) is

A user has twice re-added Rijeka to the list, which is not supported by the source. These stats should be directly verifiable by a reliable source, not requiring work to get the figure. I see nothing wrong in using an old source as long as the section makes it clear it is as of x date. Clarification of which competitions are considered in the records/stats

Since the lead text is vaguely formulated, I would suggest formulating it as follows:
This article is about major club records and statistics across all professional club competitions for european association football clubs
instead of This article details men's professional association football club records and statistics (individual and collective) in Europe.

Referring to professional competitions, it is clear to which competitions the records and statistics refer. Otherwise it would have to be stated that friendlies, exhibition tournaments or pre-season tournaments are also included in the statistics and records, which would increase e.g. the number of most goals scored by Messi in the 2011/12 season by 2 goals in Barca friendlies to 75.
At C.Ronaldo they would even increase by 6 goals in the 2013/14 season, adding 3 goals in Real Madrid friendlies and 3 goals in the ICC (Int. Champions Cup).
Sources such as UEFA and IFFHS exclude this type of tournament from their statistics. Also, most media outlets and sports newspapers, when listing records and statistics such as "most goals in a season", disregard them.

For example, when citing Gerd Müller's total goals scored in all European competitions, the German media do not count the 5 UI Cup goals (rightly so, in my opinion).
This would increase them from 68 goals (34x European Cup, 4x UEFA Cup, 20x Cup Winners Cup, 7x Fairs Cup, 3x UEFA Super Cup) to 73 goals. However the 7 goals in the Fairs Cup are counted as goals in European competitions by the media outlets, even if it's not a UEFA competition.

Most goals in a season in all club competitions (since the modern offside rule was introduced in 1925)
seems to me to be too long as a section title and, if there were no objections, I would instead suggest adding the additional information about the offside rule as article text directly after the section title:

Most goals in a season in all club competitions See also: Gerd Müller Trophy and European Golden Shoe Only the period starting from the implementation of the modern offside rule in 1925 is considered for this list. An attempt to rewrite the lead section to also remove the template with the warning in the article:

@Mishary94 The blog[1] as a source does not seem to be entirely credible, as I believe the information is incorrect. Other sources give 37 league goals for Jardel in the 1999-2000 season at Porto and not 38 goals. Overall (in all competitions in the 1999-2000 season) there would be 55 goals and not 56.

I'm also rather skeptical here because the your source is no longer available and doesn't have any game reports. Furthermore, your second added reference from wordfootball.net [5] with 37 goals, would then be contradictory and would therefore have to be removed. In addition to wordlfootball.net [6], in my opinion, these sources, listing 37 goals in the league, are more reliable than the archived one:

Apparently it's about one game where this discrepancy comes from in different sources:

For cross-competition comparison at the continental competitions, as mentioned in the lead section, only UEFA competitions (incl. Fairs Cup) are taken into account. Therefore, the regional and subcontinental competitions should not be included in this list.

Btw. the question probably refers to the recently added Bican. Here I would not entirely trust the sources provided by soccerzz (since unfortunately there are many errors in them). Goals are given for the Mitropa Cup, at a time when this competition did not even take place.

The mistake at soccerzz is the attribution of the goals from the regional cup (Středočeský Pohár) in the Central Bohemian Region to the Mitropa Cup, which did not take place at that time. Therefore these refs were removed and replaced with this credible source ARFHS - Bican. I have restored my contirbutions. But when it comes to questions like such issue with the font-size, only change what is being objected.
