Estelle was never called "Estelle Shweet-Gettleman" This is an unsubstantiated fabrication. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brian Hamilton (talkcontribs) 17:57, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

I think you have the Birthdate and Date of Passing incorrect. She was younger than Bea Arthur and Betty White. She also passed much before 2008. I think it was early 2000's.

The current birth date and date of death are reliably sourced. Melonkelon (talk) 00:05, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
She died on July 22, 2008, per, among other sources, the New York Times: [1]. (And let's not talk about "passing" in an encyclopedia: she died. Euphemisms aren't useful.) - Julietdeltalima (talk) 01:10, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Political views

Recent edits indicated Getty was a republican, with a quote from LibQuotes.com as a reference. The LibQuotes webpage references the Sun Sentinel from 11 march 1986. When I went looking for that issue, Newspapers.com did not have an 11 march 1986 issue. Probably because it was a Sunday, and apparently the Sun Sentinel only appeared on weekdays. This makes sourcing the quote impossible. DutchHoratius (talk) 15:26, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
