What in the world is this image? What is it based on? If there's a scientific image it was based on, why don't we have that instead? Looks pretty unencyclopedic -- and almost certainly based on OR. --— Rhododendrites ^talk | 16:41, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Scientific images are rarely released under the correct license for re-use on Wikipedia. This appears to be the only illustration available under creative commons. At least it's technically accurate, if not the highest quality. MMartyniuk (talk) 18:43, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just because there's no other image doesn't mean any image is appropriate. I may be mistaken as to my knowledge of image policies, but this sure looks to violate NPOV and V. It's obviously based on the skeletons figured in the paper and the accompanying illustration [1]. If we required all images on wiki to come from published sources rather than self-created images, we'd have no images. The image also passed our Wikiproject:Dinosaurs/image review You're welcome to bring it up there if you feel it's artistic quality is high enough, but its accuracy is easy to check.
