New knights
I have moved this sentence
- "A number of English soldiers were knighted at Berwick on 22 August, and the 70 knights made on 24 August 1482 marked the conclusion of the campaign."
here for further discussion as the dates seem to be wrong. According to:
- Shaw, William Arthur (1906). The Knights of England:... Vol. 2. London: Sherratt and Hughes. pp. 17–21.
This source lists the men by name the type of knighthood (kt. of banneret) and who knighted them. I counted 70 made on 24 July 1482 and more (32) on 22 August 1482. In the sentence I have moved here it looks as if the numbers are right but the dates are wrong. -- PBS (talk) 16:18, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

The image on this page is the same as the image for the 1333 siege, but both appear to suggest they are relevant to each article which can't be true. Does one need to be updated and / or removed? Leftred (talk) 11:08, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
