Etymology mentioned seems wrong

"The Mastiff name probably evolved from the Anglo-Saxon word "masty", meaning "powerful".[8]"

The Oxford English dictionary does not agree with this. My concise edition says :

"ME, ult. f. OF mastin f. Rom. mansuetinus f. L. mansuetus tame"

Same is said in French :

Un mâtin est un type de chien

   Exemple : mâtin de Naples, mâtin espagnol
   Ce mot a été repris par les anglais et est devenu mastiff.

Incorrect information

The breed name is Mastiff - not English Mastiff. And recognized colors are fawn, apricot, and brindle. CreatureFeature13 (talk) 15:59, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
