Any news on Humphrey Maris' theory?

I googled around and couldn't find anything substantive beyond his initial press release on 2000 and a conference he attended in 2003. Crag 20:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There has been some research on "excited states" of the electron bubbles, but the consensus seems to be that split bubbles are impossible. The research is interesting, though. Maris isn't a theorist, and in 2001 a couple of papers came out showing that some of the approximations he used in his 2000 paper are invalid. I think we should mention excited states, but the "electrino" theory doesn't need mentioning. Nbishop 16:24, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The first external link (to Maris' theory) is no longer functioning. I could not find any good introduction to it. Shall we remove the link? SlavaPhD (talk) 10:25, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Maris' lab group just redid their website. The link is: www.brown.edu/Research/electronbubble/. I think it is worth including in the External links, as it not only has information on Maris' specific research, but also a pretty good overview of electron bubbles and the research that has been done into them. --Blaksneeker14 (talk) 20:06, 17 July 2012 (UTC).[reply]
