User:Alastair Rae tagged this article under A7, along similar lines to a tag s/he placed on Recep Altepe that I removed. We've discussed it here but essentially I think being mayor of a large, populous city such as Adana or Bursa is a reasonable claim to notability, especially as expressed at Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Politicians. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 17:39, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
